    The Brazilian tax/import legislation  (in vogue)
    The Brazilian import regulations
    The Brazilian legislation for importing softwares...
    The Brazilian regulation governing the importation of softwares..

 

    And so on and on, I put the "currently" and "in vogue" in the above examples, but when it comes to "trade talk" the premise being that you are talking about the present state of any law.       If you mean past law (or recently changed) you would specify that in your writting.

    Anyway, it´s a "feeling" of mine, others can disagree.   If so, they will let we know, let´s wait then.
