Makes sense, Orlando. Sometimes they make questions with a catch, other day I saw a test (in Portuguese) that asked to choose one alternative (from A,B, D, E) and said that if none was right then the person would mark F, only that F didn´t exist!
So, it was a "catch" one of the right options would be A-to-D, but it had the purpose to let the candidate be puzlled and lose time...
Don´t know if the current one is just like that, then it could be A (if interpreted our way) or D (if interpreted in light of your explanation). Anyway, one interesting question.
