Mensagem:  "How did it go?" would sound fine.  "How did you go?" is asking "What mode of transportation did you use?"

How did you go?
I took a bus.
I flew.
I went on rollerskates.
I went on horseback.
I drove.
My sister took me.
I didn't; they brought the exam to me by taxi and a caravan of camels.
