Mensagem:  Hi ,
I've looked up this word in the dictionary and found no entries .
I'd like to know the meaning of the word chil' in this sentence :
chil' look deep in my eyes . It is from a song and an African story .

No Mirrors in my Nana's house .
There were no mirrors in my Nana’s house,
no mirrors in my Nana’s house.
And the beauty that I saw in everything
was in her eyes (like the rising of the sun).
“Chil’, look deep into my eyes.”
“Chil’, look deep into my eyes.”

thanks ,
Madá
