Mensagem:  Hi friends ,

About this statement :  Rhythm é a maior palavra inglesa escrita sem vogal.

According to it Y a consonant in rhythm. I thought that when Y was pronounced as I it was a vowel or a semivowel .

I've never studied phonetics in English but I found strange this statement saying there is no vowel in rhythm. Can you comment about it ?
