Sure you can send. I might be wrong about some facts, especially because I wrote everything from my memory I might have missed something. But is good for a discussion so everyone learns together.
When I first came to Canada I met an elderly lady who helped me with my pronunciation. And one day she told me, "I know Sidney this is hard language and crazy" that comment made me wonder more about the language and its history. Once I started digging I didn't stop.
I love languages in general, but English language has a interested history. Like French and Portuguese also. I have a book about French that compares English and French a lot and their history really cool. The author says: " English is the most Latin language among all the Germanic languages, and French is the most Germanic language among the Latin ones." Is not for free that the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom is written in French.
