Hi Mada,

I was real about your name. I love both Maria and Madalena (my grandma's name).

The short form, Mada, sounds French to my ears which is very charming ;)

I'm gonna look at home and find a better way to comment on that subject. But keep in mind the long vowel sounds and the short ones.

One day a girl told me, "Sid can you pronounce two?" I laughed and said: "two"!

She told me, sorry but this is wrong...you're actually saying chew and not twooooo"

This is a long vowel ([oː]) sounds stupid but there's some true in that.

The same way we (Brazilians) tend to say "iskul" to school, instead of "ssskul" starting the sound with S not I.

I'll get back to you later from home okay? Thanks for the complement, fake Sidney is gone I guess....LOL

Sid.
