Perhaps the book was:

Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation by Lynne Truss (Apr 11, 2006)

It was recommended to me by an English teacher in Australia.  The book is informative and very funny.  Among her other books are Girls Like Spaghetti.  I haven't read it, but it sounds humorous too.


Thank you for not being offended by my comment.  I only meant to call your attention to a problem.  I am very aware that there is a fine line between correcting and criticizing.  Americans often use humor to call attention to a problem, but this is often misunderstood by Brazilians as ridicule; it's not to us.
