I got your point, I always hear people saying it in a proper way. Like, if I'm talking to my friends and someone knocks on the door, I can almost guarantee you that people will say...
"I'll get that". If you say..."I'm going to get/answer/open the door" no one you raise a red flag and say "no no no why you used going to instead of will?!"
At the end of the day, it's completely up to you. Even natives wont point that you used one instead of the other. Usually people are really understanding when English is not your first language, and believe me, they will know that by the time you say "Hi". But as our folk said, if you're taking a test...you need to know that.
