No, thanks . A friend of mine is going to drive me to the airport.


The above sounds natural to me.  Instead of "Can I arrange a taxi for you?", it would be more common to hear "May I call a cab for you?"  I see no major difference between "A friend of mine is going to drive me to the airport" and  "A friend of mine will drive me to the airport."
