Assunto:  The use of 'do'
 
Mensagem:  Hi friends,

I have a question regarding the use of the particle 'do'. Sometimes I grapple with the use of this particle together aside a verb, usually in statements like this:

1)  I definitely do believe.
     I definitely believe this.

2)   I agree with it.
      I do agree with it.

3) I believe in love.
    I do believe in love.

I can't feel the difference between the statements (if there's one). My brain would understand the same message if the particle 'do' was just crossed off.
