Sunday morning rain is falling, steal some covers share some skin...

To steal covers = To take blankets covering someone in your bed.
It can be accidental or on purpose.  This is an often used idiomatic expression.

To share some skin =  I have NEVER heard this expression.  I interpret it to mean "let me see more of your body".
To give someone skin - To shake hands with someone, especially in a "dap" style that is not a true handshake but does involve touching hands.  This is NOT what the writer intended to say.
