Wauber, as I recall, I saw the word "lanche" much more often in Brazil than in the States. Any thoughts on that?
In a cinema, the place where soft drinks, popcorn, candy, etc. are sold was called "a snack bar" but I think that the current expression is "refreshment counter". Maybe I am wrong.
In Brazil it was strange to me to find "California" used a lot. If it was "California", it had fruits. And what is American about the "americano" sandwich?
