Mensagem:  Wauber, as I recall, I saw the word "lanche" much more often in Brazil than in the States.  Any thoughts on that?

In a cinema, the place where soft drinks, popcorn, candy, etc. are sold was called "a snack bar" but I think that the current expression is "refreshment counter".  Maybe I am wrong.

In Brazil it was strange to me to find "California" used a lot.  If it was "California", it had fruits.  And what is American about the "americano" sandwich?
