I know it's difficult writing in English in a way that can sound natural to a native speaker's ears, and know that I go through that challenge myself. Just be patient with yourself, and don't you dare giving up ;-) on your writing in English.
You are already years ahead of those who don't have the courage to write in English and expose it in front of only God knows how many readers out there.
As for your question about the typos, if a word in misspelled in English it will be underlined in red right after we hit the space bar, but all the words typed in Portuguese will be underlined in red.
Also on the initial question about the coffee break, maybe you can write "registration and coffee" on your program, and if people have questions (as I have learned from Americans who I've interacted with) they can always ask.
Maybe you can say "registration and coffee*"
* coffee will be served during the registration period
There you go, chica!
