It might be considered as a draft, I know that it can be improved a lot.
This paper broadly addresses the Juridical Psychology and its domains: Forensic, Criminal and Judicial Psychology. (I would rather use "subsets")
It examines psychosis and its types, focusing primarily on a group of study made up of psychotic criminals and the applied penalty for the committed crime: the security measure. It studies/compares the discrepancy between the Constitution and the Penal Code regarding that same measure: while the former prohibits sentences of perpetual imprisonment to individuals with psychosis, the latter says that sentences involving deprivation of liberty cannot exceed thirty years and the security measure will be maintained for undetermined time until it ceases the dangerousness of the subject.
This study/research/essay also addresses the reforms introduced by the following laws[...] Finally, it presents some cases of criminals recently tried by the Supreme Federal Court, along with providing a view of the constitutional interpretation of the security measure.
