Thanks Fran. I'm carioca and when we pour something, we  say "diga quando tá bom" or "até onde você quer?" or "tá bom?"

I understood the meaning in English but I just want to know if it is used as a common expression on daily bases. Once, I studied some vocabulary I learnt form a book I was reading and I was eager to show my progress to a native friend. I was surprised when she said that I was speaking like a 19th century person !!  So it is no use to learn words that are not used nowadays, but since I live in BR it is difficult to realize which ones are common or not.
