Mensagem:  How about the verb "cardar" for "to tease." Afro hair that's combed until it sticks straight out is tease. A caucasian who combs the hair until is sticks out or puffs up is teasing it. What tease means is to pull the hair into a certain shape. Hair doesn't want to be teased. Kinky hair is curly. It can grow out like a ball of cotton. If it's natural, just long hair growing into a ball of hair that's naturally curly then it's not teased. To be teased it has to be combed and pulled apart. Each strand of hair is made to stand out by itself if possible.
