What is Going Postal about? As you know, the expression means "to go crazy, become violent, etc."

I've read on my shelves and in my shelves, but I believe you will find the former is more common, and it certainly makes more sense. You put a book ON the shelf, not IN the shelf. The vase is ON the shelf, not IN the shelf.
