|Assunto:||What´s the best grammar?|
Hey, it´s pretty flattering to see that you´ve been observing how often I post around here!
I consider myself pretty fluent in english. I´m just trying to find something else to do, lol. We know that our learning curve tends to drop if we stop studying, or if we don´t get out of the comfort zone.
Is it only a hunch or the grammar is considered sorta useless???
About the teacher correcting the student, it depends on the context. "You bought that?" for instance, is a sentence that I often find myself using it. Why? ´cause it´s INFORMAL. However, what to do if you find a student/friend who says "She not work"??? This is neither informal nor formal, yet understandable. The point is: To what extent should we accept this kind of thing? If we don´t intervene, they will never get past this and what´s worse, will internalize it.
