I think that you can write "networking" as a noun in Portuguese without quotation marks but you have to be careful with "network" as a verb in Portuguese and avoid networker.
There's an important magazine in Brazil called Você S/A. The main feature of Você S/A is advice about the job market and careers in general.
Just now I was checking for the words "networking, network and networker" on Você S/A website and the only one of those 3 words that returned any result was networking.
Well, I think that if Você S/A is not using the words network and networker then there's some reason we should avoid those 2 words.
I think that the articles on networking can give you a good idea how Brazilian jornalists are approaching the use of the work networking in Portuguese.
