Mensagem:  Wasn't December 25th a festival of the Roman sun god, the winter solstice, or something?  We find no evil in the date being used to celebrate the birth of Christ, but we think kids having fun is somehow going to invoke the devil.

If Halloween is being celebrated in Brazil to give kids a taste of another culture, why not?  I've been to Juninha and Reveillon dances in California.  Does that make me a bad person?  hahaha  Let kids be kids.  Let them have some fun.

In the States the only anti-Halloween people I can think of are religious nuts (loucos, fanáticos).

Fran, your comment about masks was interesting.  Maybe this is something new.  I sure wore a mask when I went to school parties.  Of course, in those days, the mask kept my face warm as I rode my horse to the school grounds.
