Why go to university?
There are countless reasons for entering a college or university. One might say that a paper-made diploma does not make much of a difference as far as the job market goes these days. However, just by virtue of having a major one can benefit tremendously in life.
I believe that everyone should go to university and educate themselves regardless of whether this will land them their dream job or not. It is common knowledge that brighter people tend to speak up, go after their rights and are never satisfied with the status quo. Their quest for excellence and perfection for the majority of the time will eventually grant them with the best life has to offer. In addition to that, by entering university one can augment his knowledge on a given subject matter, broaden his/her horizons as far as a variety of more complex studies go and much more.
Even though there are many terrible private institutions all over Brazil targeting anyone who has failed to enter the far and few between public universities around, and possess means to pay for its abusive monthly tuition, some of them are in fact great in providing students with the required tools to be successful in the job market. We have to bear in mind that although we still have a long way ahead of us in terms of accessibility, the hurdles and drawbacks faced by those in pursuit of a degree are undoubtedly overcomeable. The aim should be the reward awaiting those who take the plunge and face it until the end.
In conclusion, by attending university one can achieve change not only for his/her life but to society as he will speak their mind, help others by putting his knowledge into practice and attain their desires with more ease.
