capability - refers to what can be done

capacity - refers to how much can be 'held'/carried/fitted in

A truck might have the capability of driving llamas up the highest peak in the Andes, but it only has the capacity to carry 50 or so

(and of course if they spit on the road too much it might slip right back down .. mmm! .. so take care with the diff. betw. these two words and the known risks associated with the said journey)
