During a meeting last week, I was discussing with a North American guy about language usage, and he mentioned one interesting think he often hears about Brazillians using English.
We learn here at English courses that we can ask for a drink in a bar by saying: I would like to drink coke, but actually the most common way to say it is Can I have a coke?
After that, when I was driving my car going to college I heard one expression on a Eric Clapton song that says Babe, fix me one more drink... (not sure if I heard it correctly).
Does this expression exist?
