Mensagem:  All are correct, but note the differences in meanings.

(1) I suggest you DO the exercises
It is my recommendation that you perform the exercises now or in the future.

(2) I suggest you DID the exercises
It is my belief that you performed the exercises at some time in the past.
I assert that you performed the exercises at some time in the past.
(Very formal.  It can be used to show courtesy while telling someone you believe he is lying to you.)

(3) I suggested you DO the exercises
It was my recommendation at some point in the past that you perform the exercises now or in the future.

(4) I suggested you DID the exercises
It was my belief that you performed the exercises at some time in the past.
I asserted that you performed the exercises at some time in the past.
(Very formal.  It can be used to show courtesy while telling someone you believe he is lying to you.)

Note that (1) and (3) are commonly used, but (2) and (4) are most likely to be heard in a courtroom, police interrogation, etc. Also note how the meanings of (1) and (3) are quite different from those of (2)  and (4).  The vocabulary is similar but not the meanings and implications.,
