Assunto:  fair skin comparative form and 'terra fofa'
 
Mensagem:  I would suggest avoiding fair skin and going with light complexion.  True, fair is often used to describe hair color.  The problem is the word has many meanings and that can lead to lack of clarity.  Fair skin could mean, for example, unblemished skin or beautiful skin.

Martha is of lighter complexion than Julia.
Martha has a lighter complexion than Julia.
Martha is light complexioned, but Julia is not.
