Mensagem:

I have an e-mail from a friend where he mention his professional goals for this year...there is one of them which I can not quite understand...the part that says "ad-hoc ancillay" is hard for me to understand. What would be a good translation for the whole sentence and for the separate words "ad-hoc" and "ancillary" as well?

I searched through the web for the "ad-hoc", and I noticed this is a latin expression, but I couldn´t find a good explanation of its meaning.

Here is the sentence:

"One of my goals is the completion of ad-hoc ancillary assignments occurring during the yearly business cycle."

Thanks!
