" 'beautiful' and 'pretty' usage can be used of women, children and things; but not usually of men. Unless you want to suggest that they have female features. Beautiful nearing the perfection (like the model Gisele Bundchen, for many) and pretty would be good looking in a more ordinary way.
Handsome it´s not generally used in spoken English.
Good-looking, on his turn, can be used about women and men, but not usually about things.
Attractive can be used about men, women and things (an attractive idea/colour/young man etc).
In average, women say that I am gorgeous! he he. Kidding around!
