   Yeah, Dale.  This was I tought.

 

   As for the "wife beater" expression, I was browsing this site of interviews and it was a first (the first time I see it, and coming from Maddona!)   It caught my eye right right at the moment I read it, the unusual use of ''wife beater'' was part of it.

   I could bet that most students of English of today, would be curious as well.

 

   The "A-shirt'' I never heard about it before as well, English never ceases to amaze me.   It is an endless source of surprises like that one.

    I was wondering, New York/LA have such a culture and way of speaking; and it is such a hub of culture...just like Rio, Sao Paulo, and other (melting pot) places in Brazil!
