Mensagem:  Why are you wearing this Brazilian t-shirt?
"Jersey" means different things to different people.  I think of a jersey as being a by athletes, particularly American football players.  I don't know what baseball players call their shirts.  Maybe they call them shirts.  I would certainly call the Brazilian garment a t-shirt.

No, it's not pidgin English.  Pidgin English is a very simplified version of English that seems to have arisen as a means of communication between groups, a lingua franca.
