I saw a book which is used on a Senac language course and in a chapter dealing with "what´s the time ?" it uses 'after' instead of 'past´'. It´s 10 after 10 (for example).

While you can say something like "I will see you sometime after 10", I had thought that

when indicating minutes one is to use : past.

Also when saying it is noon , is it 12.00 A.M or 0.00 P.M?

Likewise with midnight , is it 0.00 A.M or 12.00 P.M.?

Thanks to who knows.
