Mensagem:  It was like herding cats

You know, cowboys herd cattle or horses but even for the toughest cowboys herding cats would be an impossible thing to do.

I don't think it is a very common phrase, however let's wait for our native friends for more input on the phrase.


Example:

"Both of my children are very independent, so any time I try to get them to do something together it is like herding cats! It’s nearly impossible!"

Herding cats (phrase)

The phrase herding cats comes from the common saying that something involving coordination of many different groups or people is as difficult as herding cats, which are known for their independence
