Mensagem:  I know we've been here time and again on this topic about dating and relationship, but today, looking up the word steady I found out that one can use steadies as "The person whom one dates regularly, usually exclusively."

Check it out:

So, does the word steadies mean namorado(a) as we have in Portuguese (someone who you date regularly, yet is not formally engaged)? And if so, how could I use it?

eg(?) Ana is my steadies.

Thanks

JR
