  Well done, teacher. You were more trigger-happy than I was, hehe.

 

 

  Yeah, fruits there was to emphasize "variety", say, the guy wasn´t talking about it in general but, about the various types of fruits.

   Let´s imagine that one is thinking about bread fruit, star fruit, Surinam cherry, mango, cashew nut; then he is thinking about fruits.  Whereas in "general" he would thing about fruit as in "tree or plants produce fruit" (traduzido produz "frutas").

We do not go to Wal Mart very often but I was glad to see that they are now selling lots of fruits and vegetables from Brazil.
