Another article on Brazil´s current state of affairs, as today.

Education seems have been in the papers lately.

I am an optmistic guy and I have seen some progress here and there, only that I am realist in many ways.  I will be glad when the day has come that we don´t need one or

two guys to rely on.   And have all hopes in them, but that the country has excelled as

a whole.

We want to be "first world league'' with paternalistic and anacronic policies, but let´s things happen in their due time, without pressure.  By the way, the ''core'' (or much of these) of these policies and thinking are borrowed from somewhere else.

Can Brazil learn from its success?
Without a complete overhaul of education, Brazil's economic miracle of development and poverty reduction is at risk
