"Essa conversa tem me feito pensar no futuro."

That conversation/talking/discussion have prompted to think) about the future/about what is to come/what is in stock to us/for me/for him etc...

That conversation/talking/discussion made me think (forced me to think) about the future/my future/our future etc...

After that conversation/talking/discussion I came around to think about the future.

After that conversation/talking/discussion I have came to think about the future.

After that conversation/talking/discussion I got myself thinking about the future.



        Well, I am taking the plunge here, giving my contribuition for discussion´s sake (and in haste).   So, I have not tought about grammar (mainly verb tenses), I mean , it seemed close to the above Portuguese sentence (at least for me and at first glance).
          It´s highly likely that others ways of saying that is in order, and any output is highly welcome.
          I leave the job to natives, teachers and others then
