Assunto:  H => aitch or [h]aitch?
Mensagem:  I don't think DA, DAT, THANG, etc. are acceptable in US schools.  Why should they be?  Are PERRO, CALIENTE, HIJO, SUEGRO, and CABALLO accepted in Brazilian schools?  They aren't accepted in US schools either, outside of special classes for immigrants.

OK, someone speaks the dialect/language of Ebonics.  So?  What they speak outside the classroom is their business.  Inside the classroom, however, teachers are trying to prepare them for life in a world in which they will be judged by their ability to express themselves in English.
