Mensagem:  I am not saying that "Likewise" is bad, but it's a little lazy, don't you think?  Worse is "Same here."
..........

I have a question for you.  The following is common in English:
Mary - "I love you, Jack."
Jack - "Me too."

Is Jack saying that he also loves Jack?  Of course not, but that is what the reply is saying although that is not what he means.  Is Jack so lazy he can't tell Mary, "I love you too"?  Is it too much a sacrifice to utter that third syllable?  LOL
