Assunto:  Verbs "to indicate" and "to suggest
 
Mensagem:  He recommended a good doctor to me.  (Note that "doctor" is the direct object and "me" the indirect object.  "To indicate" in such circumstances or contexts sounds a bit "Portuglish".

He directed me to a good doctor.  (Note the difference in direct and indirect objects.)
