    Degree can be "título universitário", hence people say that they got a degree - colaram grau, se formaram.    Degree is a also a unit of measurement of angles (grau) and grade (grado) as well.

   "Fazer cálculos" may be "to solve problems".

   As you see, the meaning depends on context.

  Example 3:

Convert the degree 45° to grade.

Solution:

Step 1: Multiply the 45 degree by   to get grade.

 45° * ( ) = 10 * (5) = 50 grade

Answer: 45 degree = 100 grades

 

 

Example 4:

Convert the grade 100 to degree.

Solution:

Step 1: Multiply the 100 grade by   to get degree.

100 * ( ) = 90°

Answer: 110 grades = 90 in degree.
