There´s no equivalent in English to that, I am afraid; at least so far as I know as yet. However I think could be some descriptions, sentences close to it, trying to maintain the teasing/maybe funny ring. One hunch of mine would be "she chases more skirts than I do/ she likes the frail sex more then we all combined like it!", something in this way... But, I know that it would work to a Brazilian native, would not always work to an English speaker person. Because of culture, for example, to say 'frail sex' might ruffle some PC person feathers in our days. Even to many Brazilian ears it would be touchy. In particular, the feminine audience. |
