I've looked at some posts elsewhere about must/have. They tend to agree with your text, but they are guidelines. They are not chiseled into marble. Remember that grammar rules are usually merely observations. An educated person is expected to say/write thus. These observations may be quite old and out of date. What is an educated person TODAY expected to say/write? |
