It's traditional to say "merry", not "happy". Christmas is about the only time during the year that "merry" is used. "God bless you merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay..." (Very strange sentence structure!) I just wrote to a friend "Have a Happy Happy!". It isn't wrong, but it isn't traditional. |
