Teacher, I also thought of "cafona". "Cheesy" has come to mean many things. It's cheesy, to me, for someone to talk loudly into his cell phone as if saying, "Look at me. I am important. Listen to the business call I just got." "Cheesy" is not paying one's fair share of a restaurant bill. "Cheesy" is buying plastic flowers to take to the cemetery. "Cheesy" is lying at the cinema in order to get a discounted ticket one doesn't deserve. "Cheesy" is asking EMB people to write an essay for one's high school English class instead of writing it oneself. "Cheesy" is taking a lady to a formal dance in a 1941 Volkswagen that is missing the windshield and backseat. "Cheesy" is giving a boyfriend a present that one receives from another boyfriend. On the other hand,a cheesy pizza is a good thing! |
