Hi guys,
Josi, brought a really good point. Languages are weird sometimes. I don't know why I just got used to say "I went to bed late/ at 1/" I never said "i slept at 10" it sounds weird to my ears.
But hey, when one is talking (especially with friends) one doesn't pay as much attention in grammar or try to say everything in a perfect order or way.
The other day a friend said "Sid I will meet you around 1ish..." I was thinking to myself "isn't 1ish around 1 already? or insnt around 1, 1ish or almost one?" for me, it sounded like saying in portuguese, "eu te encontro por volta de uma, ou uma e alguma coisa"...LOL
Maybe around 1 is before one, and 1ish is like 1:05, 1:10....go figure it...LOL
