Fran, I forget where you are. In the Mid-West? What do you call your meal at noon? Is it "lunch", "dinner", or something else? And your evening meal? In Spanish it gets very complicated. I remember inviting a girl to have lunch with me, but the word I was accustomed to using (desayuno) meant "breakfast" where she was from. To her, a "desayuno" was not a complete meal, just a very light breakfast of bread and coffee. |
