Madá, for me June parties, June festivals or June festivities would do the trick. But then it´s me, okay? Obviously to the ones that know Portuguese as Dale does you can use Festa junina.
Two groups of friends of mine are discussing this term, right?
June feast is not natural to my ears and eyes, tough.
FESTIVAL:1- a special day or period, usually in memory of a religious event, with its own social activities, food or ceremonies; 2-an organized set of special events, such as musical performances
Wish me luck, I am flying soon to Rio the red-eye-flight, ugh! not my cup of tea, on top of that I am going to take my wife there to a major surgery, oh girl! Anyway, I have to do that, so be it.
Ah, congratulations on your English, keep up the good work! |
