Let me put it another way. To be sick is very general. To have a cold is very specific. If you are sick, perhaps you have a cold. Perhaps you have the measles, a fever, cancer, a cold, etc. If you have a cold, you are sick. To be on an empty stomach is very general. To fast is very specific. If you are on an empty stomach, perhaps you have been too busy to eat, have no money to buy food, cannot find a restaurant, or you are fasting. If you are fasting, you are on an empty stomach. |
