enxerido
http://michaelis.uol.com.br/moderno/ingles/index.php?lingua=portugues-ingles&palavra=intrometido intrometido
Noun 1. meddlesomeness - aggressiveness as evidenced by intruding; by advancing yourself or your ideas without invitation. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Meddlesomeness
These, not as slangy as "nosey" for example, but I think I already conveyed the general idea. For more try Urban Dictionary, or maybe Dale or some native will take the bait and let´s us know.
Ah, "enxerido" in the other sense is somebody that makes advances on girls and women, an womanizer etc.
========================== GRAMMAR BITS
In fact, in Portuguese after the particle EN comes X, not CH; as many would spell or at least think that. So, enxerido (with enxirido sound) not enchirido (never ever).
Hope it helps. |
