The man speaking is Dady Brieva who formed part of a trio called Midachi. The group disbanded and he started doing monologues.
Somewhere I have a cassette I was given around 1995 by another "cuentista" or story teller. Some of his stories are about his younger days in the provinces of Argentina, and some are humorous stories probably based on jokes. He explains the difference, by the way, between a story and a joke. I wish I could remember verbatim. In essence, he said that the difference was you felt you knew the people involved, what they ate for breakfast and the names of their children. No, I cannot remember his name. Wonderful humor...
